1. Though the preliminary program has been available for a month and has been updated online, wait until TODAY to say two of your panelists' names have been left off.
2. Ask me if I ever received their bios. (No, in fact this is the first I've ever heard that these two were supposed to be part of your session).
3. Expect me to make a change in the final program without providing any of the needed information.

I did survive, despite another power outage (this time at the hotel) and some late drop outs.
As for next year, my continuing did come up briefly at the board meeting and I did say AGAIN that I cannot do SLC 2010 without at least part time help in the office.
There were a lot of things that I simply could not do, being only one person attempting to do the work previously performed by 2.5 people.
Whether that sunk in, I'm not sure. It would involve additional fund raising from the board. There was talk about redesigning the regional events to make things easier/more streamlined, but there wasn't much clarification on what that would look like.
(I kinda flipped out at that point because I've just gotten the hang of doing regionals and now there's CHANGE ahead and it's not clear what said changes are or whether they will be imposed on me or if I have some say/choice in how this plays out).
