The TGIF Stopwatch

I stood in line to go through the metal detectors at the Alhambra courthouse. Thirty minutes.

I stood in line to check in for jury duty. Ninety minutes.

I overheard obnoxious lawyer dude call everyone to tell them he'd been called in for jury duty (amid eye rolling and outright mocking from everyone near him in line). Ninety weeks, er minutes.

I requested a postponement to attend DeWitt's funeral next Monday. Postponement until June granted. Three minutes.

I call the office to say I'll be in today after all; I just need to swing by home and pick up my badge. Supervisor says we can't do anything about yesterday's overrun except wait for the money to come in. Five minutes.

Lunch/Internet goof-offing. Seventy five minutes and counting.

Amount of time left before I can go home and crawl back into bed where I rightfully belong: two hours, fifteen minutes.
