Realized (as I was dishing up a bowl of leftover oatmeal with plain yogurt) that I forgot to mention Janet's World Famous in Poland Oatmeal was also on the brunch menu.
The folks who tried it were very complimentary, commenting on the plump raisins and granola-like texture. Make it yourself and see what a difference Janet's quick-cook method makes. Promise you'll never go back to the mush style, even if it means cleaning oat bits out of the colander every time.
Janet's fab recipe here.

If I never love you for anything else, I will always love you for this! I'm so glad your guests enjoyed it and so flattered that you would feature my humble oatmeal at your fancy brunch!
MWAH!

P.S. The key to cleaning out the bits of oatmeal in the colander is to set it in a pan of hot water--while you rinse the other dishes--long enough to let the oats soften. Then you just scrub them away! Easy peasy.
Hey ME, I was in a generous sort of mood, so I passed along a meme tag in your general direction, if you want to play along... *grin*
