Moments before the ceremony...

There was Taco Bell. A little pre-ceremony sustenance thanks to Mike's sister Jill. The Taco bounty was delivered by Mike's "little" brother, Matt (the towering giant partially pictured at left). I declared I loved Matt for bringing food, which engendered some debate about who I loved more--the future groom or his food-bearing sibling. The groom won out, naturally, but Matt's food delivery cemented his place as Best Man.

Finally, an almost-full view of the most divine bride and wedding gown! I declare I've rarely seen a more beautimous bride that our ME. She positively looked as though she was a sumptuous spun-sugar creation atop a stunning, many-layered, made-with-real-butter type cake...and I mean that in the best way possible. I was absolutely mesmerized by the vision of our ME. Really, you were a vision! Enchanting! What a lovely celebration of love that day. So many kind and funny folks to meet. Honored to have been there. Much love & many blessings.

Thanks, Beth! I know you know your bakery confections, so I'm honored by the comparison.

So glad you were there to share the day with us and to have a Gibson class reunion of sorts.

And also noted: how much you went through just to be able to post a comment! In fact, that's how Rio Grande Valley Girl came into being, too--I wanted to post a comment of my friend's DC Rush Hour blog. Here's hoping your blog takes root and grows fruit!

Love & blessings, ME
