A woman Angela and I spoke with at an antique store said it NEVER rains here. Bah!
Actually, the rain does cool things down--from the 90s to the 70s. And when it's 90 and humid, 70 and humid is actually a noticable, pleasant difference.
We have a couple of ficus in the entry courtyard and some weird palm tree-ish tree in there, too. The landscaping needs help out front, but the backyard is nice.
Maybe I should do the next photo safari of the house and yard? :)

And it isn't cooling raining either, is it? It's rain that just makes everything muggier and damper. Ick.
