More wedding & bachelorette party photos

This batch courtesy of high school pal, Wendy, and her fascination with all things Mormon.

The limo spirited us away from the rehearsal dinner about 10:00 pm and took us to a salsa club until the wee hours. And yet we all appear the next day fresh as daisies despite the wilting heat.

Be sure to read the captions. It's not quite like being there, but it's close. Except the part where she made fun of my spreadsheets.

The first guy you see me dancing with--blue shirt, hazy off-center picture--he's the one who gave me his phone number. Didn't quite seem to grasp that I was busy the next day getting married and wasn't going to call him.

are you still a robertson? or are you now a stevens?
or are you one of those silly hyphonated names?

I haven't decided--other than to decide that both names hyphenated is too much.

Loved Wendy's pictures, especially the one of me roasting you guys. I never knew I was so expressive. Good Lord!

I'm sure that was the cleanest, purest, most righteous bachelorette event she's ever been to. Her collection of snaps are fabulous and brought back some great memories of a wonderful weekend and a beautiful wedding.

THAT PHOTO, janet, is most likely one of my favorites. like, ever. have you considered stand up? ; )

and yes. that would be one of the most tame, yet sincere, bachelorette parties i've ever been to.

or at least the most sober. you mormon types sure know how to drink caffienated beverages.

and mary, i just thought it was funny that the mormons were playing that same night. fuck your spreadsheets. i mean. i think your spreadsheets came in really, really handy. great for making more paper fans.

I did briefly consider putting the ceremony program on a fan. I had the template and everything.

I think sugar is most Mormons' drug of choice, judging from the amount of ice cream consumed in Utah per capita. Caffeine and zeal for home schooling come in second and third.
