Her sweet disposition makes PK, the crabby Aby, suffer by comparison. He's stopped hissing at the closed door to Belita's room, but when he chances to see her as we enter and exit the room, he starts up again. This introduction is going to take a while...

Belita is quite pretty. Hope she gives PK a run for his money. (I secretly dream of getting a dog and giving Pogo a run for HIS money. He certainly deserves it, the way he harrasses everyone.)
Four years later, we're still waiting for our dogs and cat to get beyond the "armed truce" stage. Oy.
It can happen...when I was a kid, we had a cat (Brandy) and got the dog (Banner) when Brandy was 5 or 6.
They would sleep together after a while (they would play the most ridiculous game of chase first - one would chase the other until they hit a dead end, then they would switch roles). The cat was expert at shoving food off the counter for the dog. We aren't sure what the dog did for the cat, however.
When we moved houses four years later, we discovered Brandy had cancer and had to put him to sleep. Banner kept running away from home (back to the old place) and we would find him in Brandy's favorite hiding spots.
But ME, cute cat...and they may eventually bond!
