Quincy's Insides

As promised, some photos of the Ogden house's insides.

The captions aren't going where I want them, so I'll just tell you what you're looking at in order of posting:

Original tiled fireplace and mantel. Downstairs bath. Living room with exposed brick walls. Entryway doors. A dark shot of the kitchen (stainless steel appliances--gas range, dishwasher, microwave. Dark wood cabinetry that has mood lighting in 3 colors. Seriously. Stained glass in living room. First floor bedroom (large). First floor bedroom, smaller with weird gas fireplace thingy.

Love the woodwork! The exposed brick is hardly period-appropriate, and the wallpaper has got to go (I have mad wallpaper-removal skillz if you need pointers!), but the fireplace is awesome. Glad the furniture (and that wreath! So Utah!) isn't yours. ;)

I could totally use wallpaper removal tips! Who knows how many layers of floral fright are on there.

At least the seller didn't have inspirational sayings stenciled on the wall. Must've been a homemaking meeting on that--the resin grapes of the new millenium, only less tacky-cool.

Fabulous house! Can't wait to come visit.

I'm with JA, though: the wallpaper must be banished. Other than that, I don't think I'd touch a thing.
