Expletive, expletive, expletive

Alas, the photographers did not call back within 24 hours to tell me who's coming to shoot the wedding. This doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

I called and left a message for Mike's niece, who I thought was a strong candidate for a backup only to find out later while talking to Mike that she isn't as much of a sure thing as I had thought. He talked mainly to his sister about the niece doing photography and that was several months ago.

Now I'm on full court press to find another photographer 3 weeks before the wedding. I'm sure you can imagine how I feel about that.
